Kids backpack for a phone and diabetes supplies
A practical small backpack worn on the back, designed for children with diabetes who need to keep a mobile phone close for glucose monitoring, or carry an insulin pump or small items for hypoglycaemia.
The backpack is intentionally small so that it is comfortable even for younger children and does not get in the way during everyday movement. It is not designed as a regular backpack for snacks, toys or larger personal items, but as a small practical pouch for the essential things the child needs to keep close.
How to choose the right version?
The smaller version is made to be as compact as possible and is mainly intended for a mobile phone. It is suitable for children who need to carry a phone, for example for glucose monitoring. It does not have an inner pocket and is not intended for other larger items.
The larger version offers more space. It is suitable for a mobile phone and an insulin pump, but it can also be practical for children who do not use a pump. It can fit, for example, glucose tablets, a small drink carton or another small item needed in case of hypoglycaemia.
By hypo supplies, I mean small things a child may need when their glucose level drops – for example glucose tablets, a small drink carton or another quick source of sugar.

Child’s chest circumference
When placing your order, please choose the child’s chest circumference. Measure around the chest in the place where the backpack will be fastened.

If the measured circumference is between two sizes, you can choose the larger range. If you are unsure, choose “custom size” and write the exact chest circumference in the order note.
Important notes
The smaller version is suitable for most standard mobile phones. For very large phones or bulky phone cases, I recommend choosing the larger version.
With the larger version, the insulin pump tubing can be led out through the zip next to the slider. The backpack does not have a separate tubing hole.
For some patterns, it may also be possible to match the backpack with a sensor cover. Sensor covers are available in a separate category, or you can write a note with your order and I will check whether the same fabric is available.
